About the Ashbourne

My husband John, our 13-year-old chihuahua Willow, and I would like to welcome you to our mobility friendly home, located in the quiet village of Dashwood, located within a 10 to 20 minute drive to many attractions in Huron County. Whether you are in the area for an event, on business, or on vacation, if you are looking for a quiet, welcoming place to stay, then we are your destination! We look forward to meeting you and being part of your visit to Ontario’s West Coast.

We have two bedrooms, accessed through a private ramped entrance, each individually climate controlled. The Yorkshire room has a queen size bed, the Lancashire room has a king size bed. Both rooms have a television, with satellite programming, and two streaming channels. Free fiber optic Wi-Fi is available throughout our property. Each bedroom is secured by a locked door. Guests receive keys to the entrance door and bedroom. The private area of the home is segregated from the guest area, via a locked door, as we reside at the property.

There is a dedicated bathroom and dining lounge for the exclusive use of our overnight guests, using one or both bedrooms. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash are provided, along with many other amenities.

Enjoy your breakfast, prepared by myself, using my certified safe food handling practices and 40 years catering experience. Our guests can dine in our dedicated lounge/dining room, on the patio under the shaded pergola, or in the comfort of a screened gazebo on the deck.  Your experience will be enhanced by the sounds of a gentle waterfall, and a secluded back yard.  An evening meal is also available by request, at an additional charge. The Ashbourne is cleaned and sanitized daily, after our guests have checked out and before new guests arrive.

The Ashbourne is a non smoking/vaping, scent free property.
